The location by Lake Tegernsee is undeniably breathtaking, offering a serene backdrop for a relaxing getaway. However, the value proposition of this hotel raises important considerations for potential guests.While the staff was friendly and the breakfast overlooking the lake was enjoyable, I couldn't overlook the outdated feel of the rooms. For a price tag of EUR 200 per night, one would expect a more modern and well-maintained space. The tired rooms, complete with old carpets and uncomfortable pillows, detracted from the overall luxury experience.In terms of amenities, the hotel offers a range of standard facilities, but the lack of room updates may make guests question the overall value of their stay. For those prioritizing location and nature experiences, Terrassenhof might still hold appeal. However, for those seeking a more luxurious and up-to-date accommodation, it might be worth exploring other options in the region.
